I’m tired of news stories, I want to hear yours

With election day literally right around the corner,  it’s critical for Obama camps across the nation to stand up and promote the vote in order to ensure he and Biden make it to the White House in January.  All of the media outlets are bursting at the seams keeping up with the latest stories and tracking the movements of the campaigns.  While that’s all fine and dandy, more than anything else, I want to hear FROM VOTERS your reason for wanting Obama to be your next president.  Was there a specific issue that maybe changed your mind?  Have you backed him since before the election?  What’s the story behind your vote?

I could think of nothing else more encouraging and inspiring than to hear the thoughts and views of fellow Obamaniacs.  This posting is open entirely for input, so please, let loose.

Everyone’s contribution counts!

And he’s funny too!

In the heat of all the campaigning, Obama’s speech at the Alfred E.  Smith memorial dinner in New York last week had me rolling on the floor.

Yikes!

You know, I hadn’t really heard too much about Cindy McCain except that she’s fortunate enough to have more houses than I can count on one hand and she wears pricey campaigning outfits.  But alas!  The New York Times has provided an article that paints a detailed picture of Mrs. McCain’s life, explaining more than just the money…sort of…

Read the NYT’s article on Cindy McCain here.

Don’t forget to tell us why!

Race running the race.

It’s disheartening and terrifying that there are people in the United States are still afraid of other cultures and ethnicities that contribute to the bulk of our nation. Here’s a great article from CNN about Muslim-American voters, and the work that they have done, not only dealing with the same problems American’s of other faiths, but also dealing with the accusations, and incorrect stereotypes our citizens and media have chosen to guide them through our war on “terrorism”.

And here are a couple of videos shedding more light on the problems of race and faith-based discrimination Obama’s campaign has faced.  Thank you in advance to Keith Olbermann and Aljazeera for telling the truth.
